We seek to display the love of Christ, reaching out into the community and connecting with people in all walks of life, inviting them in and meeting their needs.

• A priority for Leaside is its work with the very young (through the Kindergarten), the elderly (through the ‘Listening Place’ and other activities) and the vulnerable (for example those with special needs). We plan to extend this work, particularly with young people and the elderly.

• We know that people already come to Leaside for all sorts of reasons, not necessarily related to church activities, but all are part of the church family and they will always be met by God’s love.

As well as our outreach to those coming in to use the premises, Leaside members will continue to be actively involved in a number of different outreach activities in the town, going out to meet people’s needs. These currently include;

• Street Pastors

• Ware Food Bank,

• LoveWareLiveWare (ecumenical initiative organising community fun-days and other events in local neighbourhoods),

• Ware CAP Job Club,

• Herts Welcomes Syrian Families,

• The Fairtrade Town Group

• Christian Aid.
